The Fun Hunt to Raipur from Jaisalmer Begins : Days Filled With Fad, Food and Frolic!

Now I may be am amateur to express my opinion on a global forum, but being born and raised in the Golden City of Rajasthan, I can assure you that there is no place like Jaisalmer. An avid fashion geek, foodie and adventure lover, I am open to variety and experimenting newer things in our world. And so, I had decided to visit one of the historical cities of India, Raipur.

Having no idea about the city of Raipur, I was clueless about the travel lines and accommodations in the city. The advanced technology of this generation came of much help to me. I found several options of Raipur flight plus hotel booking, which could have been a pinch in my budget, plus numerous trains that could take me on my journey.

The matter of booking a hotel room was also completed in the click of a button. I took the JSM JU Express from Jaisalmer the first evening. It would take me to Jodhpur, from where I would have to take the JU Puri Express to reach the adventurous city.

The Scenic picture that the sky was painted with looked like a canvass off an art gallery wall. The sound of the train track, the thrum of the people, piping hot teas and the cool breeze, lulled me into slumber as I closed my eyes dreaming of what lay ahead of me. Tiny villages, cities and stations passed by in a blur and I was already filled with pictures to write a whole book about.

The journey I took from Jaisalmer was like a leaf off a Ruskin Bond Tale. The breathtaking view of the various cities I passed through was worth the trip by train. Fitting my budget and still giving me much to write and cherish was a choice worth the money.

The simple girl from the rubbles of Jaisalmer was about to pain the city of Raipur with fluorescent colors now. With my entire journey planned and scheduled out, I was eager to reach my destination and with haste.

My journey was segmented into two routes. First, from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur by JSM JU Express and then I fetched the evening train from Jodhpur to Bandra Terminus Mumbai via Surya Nagri Express. It was cool in the morning when I was packing for my date with Mumbai. JSM JU Express departed at 11.30 pm and I bid farewell to my birth city for a while. There was no time to think of anything as the night passed in a wink of an eye.

The train was on full move to reach Jodhpur the next morning without any delay. Travelling through train has always been the challenging part of my isolated journey. And I have defeated it number of times. Being a girl of 24 my dreams are quiet high and so is my contribution to fulfill it. I believe the life is all about dreaming, living and fulfilling, rest I leave on my deity. Landing on the Jodhpur station with welcoming breezy air was totally a new experience for me. Without thinking much I arrived at Heritage Kuchaman Haveli Jodhpur to take a few hours rest. The hotel was pre-booked by my friend for me. It was merely done to catch my evening train to Mumbai. Embodiment of hospitality with my religion as the base, the hotel is ideal to understand my very own culture with profundity.

The day passed staring the excellent hotel and I got recharged to fetch my train from Mumbai in the evening. My train travel journey via JSM JU Express, Surya Nagri Express with a little bit of rest in the Heritage Kuchaman Haveli Jodhpur provided me an opportunity to meet the cultures of the three cities at a time. The next afternoon I was there to hit Mount Mary Church Bandra Mumbai.

My Incredible Journey from Jaisalmer to Patna via Jodhpur

Work of a fashion designer is exciting but it keeps me busy throughout the day and I hardly get any time to go out and relax. So whenever I get a break from my busy schedule I go out visiting places.eet shopping, camping, photography, meditation, yoga etc are my other hobbies. I love to hand out with my friends and spend time with them. Last time I decided to go to Patna, but decided to stay for a few hours at Jodhpur. So I booked for my train travel journey from Jaisalmer to Patna via Jodhpur on Jsm Ju express. The train departure time of the train from Jaisalmer was 11.30 and I was ready to go to the station by 10.00 pm. I had all my bags packed and had my dinner. My father took me to the station and we reached the station by 11.00pm.

I got in to the grain and bid goodbye to my father and off the train went with a whistle. Soon I went off to sleep, keeping an alarm to wake up at 5.00 am, as the train would arrive Jodhpur by 5.20 am. I got up at 5.00 am and got ready to get down. The train arrived at Jodhpur on time and I got down. There was a cab waiting to take me to Kothi Heritage, Jodhpur and I reached the hotel in no time.

The hotel was a beautiful place which reflected the heritage of Rajasthan but at the same time provided all the modern amenities to the customers. I stayed at the hotel for 7 hours and I loved my stay in the hotel. The room was air-conditioned and spacious with all facilities like LCD TV, hair dryer, internet connection, telephone and an attached bathroom. There was also 24 hour room service for the convenience of the customers. After getting refreshed, I had my breakfast and then went to sleep for a while as I was tired sleeping late and getting up early.

After spending 7 hours in the hotel, I went to the airport for my next trip from Jodhpur to Patna by Air India Airlines. My train travel journey from Jaisalmer to Patna via Jodhpur was really enjoyable and after reaching Patna I went to the hotel I had already booked online.

 

JSM JP Express, Hotel Megh Niwas Jodhpur, JU HWH Supfast – An Unforgettable Traveling Experience

With the approach of the weekend, I was again on my way to explore the exotic locations of my beautiful country. This time, I have planned to visit Allahabad and to get the most out of my visit; I booked my tickets for Saturday night on JSM JP Express. The train left Jaisalmer station exactly at 11.05 PM. I would have to stop at Jodhpur and then catch another train to Allahabad. As per the timetable, the train would arrive at Jodhpur Junction at 4.30 AM, with ½ hours halt time there. I set the alarm on my phone for 3.30AM and fell into a light sleep. As such, I do not sleep soundly while travelling in trains.

At about 4.05 AM, the train reached Jodhpur and I scrambled out of the train along with a few other passengers. Since it was quite early, I decided to spend some time in the waiting room. At 5.30 AM, I called a cab. My destination was Hotel Megh Niwas Jodhpur, which I had pre-booked online for a room. The distance to the hotel was about 5 kilometres.

The hotel had all the facilities and the amenities that travellers like me would enjoy. The exterior of the hotel looked like a huge castle with lights that would make the lodgers happy and relaxed. There were exquisite paintings hung up on the walls of the lobby. My room had a good ambience with good lights and wall decors. The bed was cosy and the room had a television, a refrigerator and Wi-Fi connection along with the other regular amenities.

I freshened up and went down to the restaurant to have my morning beverage and breakfast. The name of the restaurant was Klay Oven and the food was delicious. Being a foodie, I would say that the meals that I had at this restaurant gets a full thumbs-up from me.

The train to Allahabad was on Monday at 11.30 PM and as such, I had to spend time in Jodhpur until then. I visited some temples nearby and the gardens, which were located near to the hotel. I even tasted some mouth-watering dishes while in Jodhpur.

On Monday, at 7.30PM, the hotel receptionist informed me that my cab was ready to take me to the railway station. I reached the station in about 20 minutes. The train, JU HWH Supfast (Jodhpur-Howrah Superfast), was already at the station. I settled down in my seat and at 8.30 PM, the train pulled out of the station. I would reach Allahabad at 2 PM on Tuesday
