My Train Travel from Jaisalmer to Kerala – A Long Journey Done Leisurely

Frankly speaking, my passion for traveling has taken me to many places in the country. A fashion designer by vocation, I have made traveling a part of my work for I update myself with the changes in the trends of fashion. Different people and their different cultures are my inspiration. To tell you the truth, I have developed a liking for learning different cultures, as well as history because of this.

Recently, I had good experience traveling to one of the happening towns in Kerala and I am quite thrilled to post my experience in my blog. Since I love traveling to the southern states of India, I fixed my destination this time as Kannur in Kerala. My colleague, who is a Malayalee by birth, promised to accompany me, which definitely solved my language problem there. Being strict budget travelers, we had our tickets booked in two trains through Kerala flight and hotel deal app and my train travel from Jaisalmer to Kannur started in a reasonably good way.

It was on Thursday when we started early to board the JSM JU Express (14809) from Jaisalmer railway station to travel to Jodhpur. The train was on time and departed at 6.15 am. The AC chair car was quite comfortable and the compartment was clean and adequately furnished. I was in high spirits, which I am generally when traveling. We spoke about the changing fashion in clothes when a young girl who got in from Pokran joined us in the discussion.

The train reached the Jodhpur Junction at 1 pm and we had ample time to go around the Jodhpur town shopping and watching a movie. The Bkn Kcvl Express (16311) from Jodhpur departed quite early in the morning at 1.15 am. Since we were tired, we slept immediately once we boarded the train. At the Ahmedabad Junction, the train halted for 25 minutes and we had our breakfast.

It was eleven in the morning and the day was quite hot. We had a family traveling to Mangalore in the train. The time passed quickly chatting and playing games, while the train raced passing many stations such as Vadodara Junction, Surat, Vasai Road, Panvel Junction, Madgaon, Mangalore and finally Kannur.

We had a long journey and were very tired; nevertheless, the fresh air at the station invigorated my senses. I looked for the way out and to the hotel, which I booked through Kerala flight and hotel deal app.

The Fun Hunt to Raipur from Jaisalmer Begins : Days Filled With Fad, Food and Frolic!

Now I may be am amateur to express my opinion on a global forum, but being born and raised in the Golden City of Rajasthan, I can assure you that there is no place like Jaisalmer. An avid fashion geek, foodie and adventure lover, I am open to variety and experimenting newer things in our world. And so, I had decided to visit one of the historical cities of India, Raipur.

Having no idea about the city of Raipur, I was clueless about the travel lines and accommodations in the city. The advanced technology of this generation came of much help to me. I found several options of Raipur flight plus hotel booking, which could have been a pinch in my budget, plus numerous trains that could take me on my journey.

The matter of booking a hotel room was also completed in the click of a button. I took the JSM JU Express from Jaisalmer the first evening. It would take me to Jodhpur, from where I would have to take the JU Puri Express to reach the adventurous city.

The Scenic picture that the sky was painted with looked like a canvass off an art gallery wall. The sound of the train track, the thrum of the people, piping hot teas and the cool breeze, lulled me into slumber as I closed my eyes dreaming of what lay ahead of me. Tiny villages, cities and stations passed by in a blur and I was already filled with pictures to write a whole book about.

The journey I took from Jaisalmer was like a leaf off a Ruskin Bond Tale. The breathtaking view of the various cities I passed through was worth the trip by train. Fitting my budget and still giving me much to write and cherish was a choice worth the money.

The simple girl from the rubbles of Jaisalmer was about to pain the city of Raipur with fluorescent colors now. With my entire journey planned and scheduled out, I was eager to reach my destination and with haste.

My Train Travel from Jaisalmer to Mumbai – Assembling Two Routes and Three Cosmopolitan Cities

Meditation and yoga are what make me glee of my own fellowship. It is the pillar of my solace journey. Though the timeless culture and allure of Jaisalmer always dwells in me, I am perpetually prepared to explore the same in other ends too. India is stuffed with countless overwhelming places. My train travel journey from Jaisalmer to Mumbai was the portrayal of undying traditional Jaisalmer to ever-changing trends of Mumbai. This scrupulous thought was exciting me even more than ever.

My journey was segmented into two routes. First, from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur by JSM JU Express and then I fetched the evening train from Jodhpur to Bandra Terminus Mumbai via Surya Nagri Express. It was cool in the morning when I was packing for my date with Mumbai. JSM JU Express departed at 11.30 pm and I bid farewell to my birth city for a while. There was no time to think of anything as the night passed in a wink of an eye.

The train was on full move to reach Jodhpur the next morning without any delay. Travelling through train has always been the challenging part of my isolated journey. And I have defeated it number of times. Being a girl of 24 my dreams are quiet high and so is my contribution to fulfill it. I believe the life is all about dreaming, living and fulfilling, rest I leave on my deity. Landing on the Jodhpur station with welcoming breezy air was totally a new experience for me. Without thinking much I arrived at Heritage Kuchaman Haveli Jodhpur to take a few hours rest. The hotel was pre-booked by my friend for me. It was merely done to catch my evening train to Mumbai. Embodiment of hospitality with my religion as the base, the hotel is ideal to understand my very own culture with profundity.

My train travel journey via JSM JU Express, Surya Nagri Express with a little bit of rest in the Heritage Kuchaman Haveli Jodhpur provided me an opportunity to meet the cultures of the three cities at a time. The next afternoon I was there to hit Mount Mary Church Bandra Mumbai.

My Incredible Journey from Jaisalmer to Patna via Jodhpur

I stayed at the hotel for 7 hours and I loved my stay in the hotel. The room was air-conditioned and spacious with all facilities like LCD TV, hair dryer, internet connection, telephone and an attached bathroom. There was also 24 hour room service for the convenience of the customers. After getting refreshed, I had my breakfast and then went to sleep for a while as I was tired sleeping late and getting up early.

Train Travel from Jaisalmer To Delhi by JSM-DLI Express – Something worth Remembering

Khamma ghani! Namaste! Hello everyone! I am Saachi Agarwal from the land of forts and yellow stone Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Apart from fashion designing, travelling and looking at new places is my second passion. Whenever I find myself tied in the strings of work, I lose myself into a quick weekend tour. It rejuvenates me and provokes a new zeal in me. After another irksome week, I planned a tour to ‘Heart of India’ Delhi with my colleague Sandra. I planned this tour on Thursday and easily reserved two sleeper class tickets in JSM-DLI Express.

On Friday, I wrapped up my work hurriedly and reached home at 1 pm. I packed my bag hastily and reached the railway station at 4.30 pm and started waiting for the train and Sandra. Jaisalmer is the least populated district of Rajasthan; this thing can be seen at its railway station too. It was calm, and only a few people waiting for their trains were wandering on the platform. Sandra arrived at 5 pm, which was quite annoying as I was waiting for her since 4.30. Anyway, my train travel from Jaisalmer (JSM) to Delhi (DLI) by JSM-DLI Express started at 5.15 pm.

There were hardly 5-6 passengers in our compartment and it was pleasing and scaring at the same time. We started chatting with each other, and an aunty from the nearby berth joined us. After a nice chit- chat, I started feeling hungry. At Jodhpur station, we bought food packets from the shop outside and had our dinner in the train. The train had a long 35-minute stay at Jodhpur and after that it rushed to its destination at a good speed. I started listening to songs in my iPod and Sandra resumed her unfinished novel.

I don’t remember when we fell asleep, but when I opened my eyes it was 7.15 am, the train was relaxing at Alwar junction and Sandra was already awake. We had tea together and after that we started discussing our schedule and memorising places we had to visit with the first place to visit being the India Gate. I have no idea whether the train was too fast or our discussion was too long. This approximately 18 hour-long train travel from Jaisalmer JSM) to Delhi (DLI) by JSM-DLI Express seemed so short to me. The train reached Delhi at scheduled time of 11.10 am.
